Here at Challenge, we believe that quality is not something one checks for when the part is done, but is an ongoing process that starts long before the first part is produced with the Process Design and Mistake Proofing.  In-Process checks, including the utilization of SPC, are done throughout the production of parts.  The QA Department then supplements the above efforts with documented procedures for final checks, dock audits, and CMM checks of complex features that can not be easily checked with conventional gages. All this is done because it is far more cost effective to prevent a defect then fix a defect.  Challenge is ISO 9001:2000 certified.
